ENTRANCE AGE

The Vernon Parish School Board authorizes that children entering kindergarten in the school district must be five (5) years of age on or before September 30 of the calendar year in which the school year begins.

Children entering the first grade at the beginning of the school session must be six (6) years of age on or before September 30 of the calendar year in which the school year begins.
