GRADUATION EXERCISES
It is the policy of the Vernon Parish School Board that no student be allowed to participate in commencement exercises until he/she has successfully completed all graduation requirements as prescribed by the Louisiana Board of Elementary and Secondary Education (BESE). Special Education students must meet all program requirements to receive a certificate of completion and participate in commencement exercises.
Senior graduation exercises may be held any evening during the last two (2) weeks of school, as approved by the Vernon Parish School Board. Caps and gowns shall be the attire for all senior graduations.
