THE VERNON PARISH SCHOOL BOARD CONVENED IN SPECIAL CALLED SESSION AT 5:00 P.M., 201 BELVIEW ROAD, LEESVILLE, LOUISIANA.  VICE-PRESIDENT TRAVIS CALLED THE MEETING TO ORDER AND ON ROLL CALL THE FOLLOWING MEMBERS WERE PRESENT:

VERNON TRAVIS, VICE-PRESIDENT

RANDI GLEASON

MEL HARRIS

BERYL FORD

RANDY MARTIN

There was also present Mr. Jackie D. Self, Secretary of the Board.

The meeting was opened in prayer by Beryl Ford.

The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Beryl Ford.

On motion of Beryl Ford, seconded by Randy Martin, the Board voted to approve the resignation of Dwain Ducote, principal at Evans High School.

On motion of Beryl Ford, seconded by Mel Harris, the Board voted to advertise for the position of principal at Evans High School.

There being no further business, and on motion of Gaye McKee, seconded by the Board, the meeting was adjourned.
